Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Really enjoyed the food at Al Aqsa Restaurant. The Teheri was very flavorful and tasted homemade, and the yogurt went perfectly with it. What I appreciated most was the staff—they were genuinely friendly, polite, and welcoming. Good food, nice people, and a very pleasant experience overall. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Tody July 26 at 12:00pM , I went to this store and was looking for cooked Hilsa fish. Person at the counter was very nice and stated that "No Hilsa today". Then he said if I am will to wait 30 minutes, he would try to cook some Hilsa for me. I said ok. He offered me a cup of tea and told me to wait. I was very excited during dinner time at 6:00pm having white rice and Shorchey Ilish fish. However, this fish is full of bones and does not test like Ilish fish. I was not able to eat this fish, had to dispose it into garbage can. After 30 minutes, my wife came our study room and informed me that "It is not a Hilsa Fish". Very very disappoinment. However, person at the counter was very welcoming.

Here’s a polished 4-star review you can use: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Al-Aqsa Supermarket in Warren, Michigan is a solid place for halal groceries and Middle Eastern items. They usually have a good selection of fresh meat, spices, rice, and specialty products that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff is generally helpful and the store is well stocked most of the time. Prices are reasonable compared to other local markets, though occasionally some items can be slightly higher. It can get a bit busy during peak hours, but overall it’s a convenient and reliable spot for grocery shopping in the area. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Warren and looking for quality halal products.

The market we visited was an intriguing spot where my daughter and I spent some time browsing through some bulk vegetables. We came across several unique items, notably a wide range of dried spices and products like dates. Given the reasonable prices and freshness of the spices, I would definitely suggest stopping by. Furthermore, their selection of frozen treats and other unique frozen products adds to the appeal, making it a recommended visit

I'm writing this review to inform all customers of quality and safety concerns regarding frozen food products in this store. Upon opening the package, I noticed visible signs of mold on the product. This was very concerning, as the item was still within its expiration date and had been properly stored in my freezer since purchase. With Ramadan coming up, I wanted to inform the management and most importantly make the customers aware that the frozen food products here may not be stored in the appropriate temperature. This experience has caused me to question the quality and safety of all frozen products in this store! Management must look into this ASAP!
